Materials are the elements that comprise the “essence” of a structure and create its tangible form. Yet, their various properties define its physical state and create sensory stimulation that shapes user perception of the final outcome. Their selection process is one of the most important aspects in a property development project and as materials’ technology evolves at an ever increasing rate, the range of choices is more perplexing than ever. Choice, largely depends on the nature of the project and the requirements imposed by its usage purpose (i.e. public building vs. private etc) contrasted to intended design choices aimed to create user emotion, distinguishing character, comfort, environmental integration and functionality. Last but not least, our choices aim at durability and a targeted maintenance cost throughout the lifecycle of the property.

Through a collaborative managed process, Metrax enables clients to achieve outstanding results that fit within their predefined budget while ensuring adherence to the architectural concept and decoration style selected (e.g. Tiling, flooring, metallic, wooden, glass & stone surfaces, decorative items, external surfaces, etc.). Upon assignment, we undertake the tasks of selection, sourcing, procurement and Quality Assurance along with timely delivery ensuring no interruptions to the flow of works.
