Syghroni Polykliniki A.E.

Based on an existing 2,500m² building initially designed to house a school, our team was assigned the task of redesigning the property to be used as a 77 beds general clinic that includes a fully functional Kidney Support unit. In addition to the current floor space, an extension of 1,500m² will be constructed in order to meet the targeted bed capacity and satisfy the stringent legal requirements for operation. The project entails a series of design challenges since the existing structure was not originally planned for the current targeted use. Adaptation and expansion, led to a series of modifications at all levels along with several design re-working for all the engineering teams that Metrax co-ordinates. The clinic is currently under construction.
