Project Brief
Metrax was assigned the interior design and fit-out of the new offices of Delonghi Group in Greece. After several years of steady growth, Delonghi that also owns Kenwood & Braun small appliances household brands, was in need of more space in order to cater for its expanding market share, product range and personnel requirements in the future. Thus the new space is doubling their capacity from 250sqm to 500sqm of main office space also adding amenities such as a dedicated kitchen area for product presentations and more parking space. Metrax developed the design concept that the new premises are based on focusing on a functional layout and a highly flexible electrical infrastructure catering for future needs. The client was interested in a modern minimal design that on top of improving their operational efficiency would also enhance their showroom capabilities used by the marketing and sales department. The much improved interior environment allows for more natural light present in the new offices, view to newly added green elements and more space aiming to enhance personnel comfort and achieve productivity gains.
